Reflections on the Journey
East Tenth UMC
A journey. That's one of the primary ways the Bible describes our walk through a life. Highs and lows, joys and sorrows, easier times and difficult chapters, with companions and on our own--it's all framed in a journey. The journey may seem to meander, but faith shows that, looking back, we find we have been guided and that our way is pointing us to promise.
None of us have to travel alone. By faith, we are convinced Jesus walks with us in Spirit. He said, "I am with you always" and "I am the road under your feet." Jesus is a faithful guide. He's trustable above all others. We hope you'll join us as we journey with him.
In this section, from time to time, we will share some of our reflections from the journey--what we as individuals and a community of faith are discovering and working through together.
